These terms govern your use of cryptofinders.co.uk, operated by CryptoFinders Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. By using the site you accept them.
What this site is — and is not
- The content of this site is general information about US unclaimed-property programmes as they touch digital assets. It is not legal, financial, or investment advice, and it is not tailored to your circumstances.
- CryptoFinders Ltd is a private firm. We are not affiliated with any US state government, the government of the United Kingdom, or any unclaimed-property office.
- Every US state offers a free public search and charges owners nothing to claim. You may always verify and claim directly through a state's official unclaimed-property site without engaging us or anyone else.
- The ledger search on this site runs against a small specimen dossier for demonstration purposes; it is not a live search of state records.
Engagements
Submitting an inquiry through this site does not create an engagement, and we owe you no duties until both parties sign a written engagement letter. Any engagement letter will state our fee precisely, honour the fee caps and timing restrictions of the relevant US state, and provide that no fee is payable unless and until a state approves and pays your claim. Recovered funds are paid by the state directly to you, never through us.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to probe or disrupt it, no scraping at scale, no submitting inquiries containing another person's information without their authority, and no use of the site to further any fraudulent claim.
Intellectual property
The content and design of this site belong to CryptoFinders Ltd. You may view and print pages for personal use; any other reproduction requires our written permission.
Liability
We take care to keep the site's information accurate, but US state laws and programmes change and we make no warranty that any page is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the site's general content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects the terms of any signed engagement letter, which prevail over these terms for engaged clients.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
